Lupton Rausch Architects provided Programming, Space Planning and Cost Budgeting for the entire Chase Mortgage Operations. The programming was implemented to consolidate Chase facilities and plan for five and ten-year projected growth. The result is a 510,000 SF. facility located at Easton Development in Columbus, Ohio. The success of the project rested in the creation of highly flexible workstation configurations, coupled with efficient employee density and maintenance of an employee friendly work environment.
The working environment provides natural lighting to all work areas, and indirect lighting for computer monitoring. Standard floor configurations were created to facilitate flexibility within departments and floors, and for the 3,100 employees a full service dining facility, retail convenience store were provided maintaining a contemporary corporate identity throughout the facility. Additional program requirements included a 16,000-square foot environmentally controlled computer room, a 12,000-square foot multi-media training facility, security monitoring station, 4,500-square foot mailroom, and Daycare Facility.
