This new facility for Muirfield Village Golf Club entailed the reclamation of a wooded creek side piece of land situated between the 1st fairway, the club house and the signature guest house villas at Muirfield. A permanent wood and stone shelter house anchors a series of serpentine stone walls which hold the permanent memorial plaques for Memorial Tournament Honorees.
Lupton Rausch Architects worked closely with the Muirfield Country Club Board and the Nicklaus family to ensure a successful completion for the 1999 Memorial Tournament Dedication Ceremony.
