Allan Lupton

Experience:
Allan Lupton has over 38 years of experience practicing Architecture. He founded Lupton Rausch Architects in 1990 following 13 years of experience with a prominent mid-west design firm. During his tenure with that firm, he served as Senior Designer, Studio Director, and Vice President in charge of Branch Operations. His experience includes an extensive variety of project types including:
- Recreational facilities
- Corporate office buildings
- Office interiors
- Retail and restaurant facilities
- Hospitality facilities
- Financial institutions
- Adaptive re-use projects
- Libraries
- Educational facilities
As Principal in our firm, Allan’s primary project-related responsibilities begin at project inception and continue through the Design Development Phase. His focus includes working with the Design Team to establish a direction that meets the Owner’s program, aesthetic, and budget requirements.
Allan has served as a juror for award programs sponsored by the American Institute of Architects as well as The Ohio State University School of Architecture. He has been recognized by the AIA for his designs of:
- Upper Arlington Library
- The Fairfield Harbour Restaurant and Conference Facility in New Bern, North Carolina
- The Sapphire Valley Inn in Asheville, South Carolina
- Design Central Corporate Offices and Studio in Westerville, Ohio
Gary Rausch

Experience:
Gary Rausch has been practicing architecture for over 40 years, and throughout his career has gained valuable experience on a multitude of project types in the commercial market. He has been the Project Manager responsible for projects for major clients such as:
- Nationwide Realty Investors
- Huntington National Bank
- Huntington Mortgage Company
- Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation/JP Morgan Chase
- Federated Department Stores
- Time Warner Communications
- Chemical Bank/Chemical Mortgage Company

With a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the Design Process, Gary is responsible for the Project Management, coordination and control of all of the disciplines involved in a given project. His primary expertise lays is in the following phases of a project:
- Construction Detailing and Documentation
- Specifications
- Bidding
- Construction Administration
Gary’s design sensitivity enables him to work closely with the client and project team throughout all phases, in order to assure the design integrity of the completed project.
Gary coordinates our in-house and consultant design team to ensure that project schedules and budgets are met, closely monitoring cost estimates throughout the Design Process. His experience in production, specifications writing and the preparation of bidding documents and understanding of the construction process are critical to the quality control that Lupton Rausch expects on each of its projects.

Experience:
David Goth has been with Lupton Rausch Architects since 1991. His experience varies from the role of Principal/Design Architect to Project Manager, providing the critical balance between design considerations, technical constructability issues, budget constraints and schedules. A continuity of involvement from project conceptualization through all phases of construction has become his primary method of understanding a particular client’s needs, and delivering a quality end product.
Experience ranges from the following:

Jim has been fundamental to the success of many commercial, interior, and residential projects. He has been the Project Designer responsible for projects for major clients including:

With a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the Design Process, Jim’s primary expertise lays in:

Bradley M. Prinz

Dustin M. Adams

Dustin has been with Lupton Rausch Architects since 2016. As a project architect and associate principal, he leads multifamily and mixed-use developments from early design concepts through construction administration. Known for his clear communication and proactive coordination, Dustin brings leadership and focus to complex design problems, balancing big-picture vision with detailed project execution.
His portfolio includes new construction and urban infill projects, where he manages design documentation, jurisdictional approvals, consultant coordination, and construction administration. Dustin ensures continuity across phases and disciplines, keeping projects on track and aligned with client goals. His ability to bridge design and technical execution is matched by a calm, solutions-oriented approach that brings clarity to fast-moving project timelines.
In addition to his architectural leadership, Dustin strengthens the firm’s digital practice by developing custom tools that improve documentation, coordination, and efficiency across projects. He contributes to office-wide standards, mentors staff, and advocates for thoughtful, well-integrated processes that enhance overall project delivery.
