CD101 Radio Station

This 2,000- square foot space is located on the first floor of the notable Worley Building, a former 1890’s horse stable situated in the historic Brewery District of downtown Columbus. The space includes loft corporate offices for the popular radio station, along with an employee/visitor bar area; gymnasium complete with basketball hoop; a “Big Room” meant for in-house concerts and promotions; and the studio with two disk jockey booths.

This project succeeds in maintaining the warehouse texture with open ceilings, two-story windows, and exposed structure. Areas of the space become a backdrop for the conglomeration of radio paraphernalia and promotional materials. The overall theme of this eclectic, hip and energetic space proves consistent with the contemporary alternative radio station; and the recognized space has been named by national print publication Radio Ink© as #2 in the ranking of “World’s Best Radio Facilities”.
